CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The project director designs and implements high-profile public markets projects in Greater Montreal. His/her tasks will be as follows:

  • Managing the project portfolio: planning, monitoring, controlling resources’ output for mandates
  • Establishing and controlling budgetary envelopes and working budgets
  • Producing timelines, assigning tasks to a roughly 15-person team
  • Managing administrative aspect of contracts (dossier creation, administrative follow-up, billing, etc.)
  • Delivering presentations to clients
  • Coordinating the work of engineering consultants and other external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with Lemay policies, protocols and procedures
  • Implementing best practices as part of the team, promoting knowledge transfer

  • University degree in architecture
  • OAQ member in good standing
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant architectural experience
  • Experience managing projects of over $20 million in the past five years
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite software
  • Good knowledge of Revit an advantage
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
  • Communication skills and diplomacy
  • Ability to manage stressful situations
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, under tight deadline
