Marketing Coordinator

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted September 12, 2017.

The Marketing department is looking for a marketing coordinator to complete its growing team.

Under the supervision of the Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the support of AIM and its 4 subsidiaries, as well as for the coordination and execution of Marketing & Communication projects in a North American and international context. Project coordination:

• Be the contact person for new projects: design, communication, video, signage’s, advertisements, websites, Facebook pages, events, etc.;

• Gather all the information necessary to carry out projects;

• Create “briefs” for the graphic designer based on customer requests;

• Coordinate, plan, and follow-up on project milestones; from the start to the finalization of the project;

• Establish the costs of each project (definition of the number of hours, budget, etc.);

• Control the quality and compliance of all projects with the graphic standards;

• Manage the follow-up with suppliers (proof, quality, delivery, payment, invoices etc.).



Marketing strategy: In collaboration with the marketing team, set-up strategies for each of our recycling sites (needs analysis, benchmark, action plan implementation, contact with media companies, creation of a radio message, etc.);

Social media: In collaboration with the Marketing team, set-up a content strategy, publish content on LinkedIn and Facebook;

Events: Create an internal calendar of events, define the needs for the next Recycling show, manage the kiosk creation project, and select promotional items;

Branding: Manage the finalization of the brand book and take part in the new brand launch.

Web presence: continue the inventory and corrective actions project of all our Google my business accounts.


Other responsibilities

• Collaborate on the development and improvements of our websites;

• Participate in marketing decisions for different projects;

• Creation of a catalog of services offered by the Marketing department;



• University degree in Marketing, Communication, or equivalent;

• Relevant experience of 3-5 years in a similar position;

• Bilingualism (French and English) in both written and oral is required;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Creativity, understanding of printing and web principles;

• Computer skills required: Adobe Suite an asset (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;

• Webdesign knowledge, an asset;

• Excellent relationship / customer service skills;

• Thoroughness, meticulousness, sense of organization;

• Initiative, resourcefulness;

• Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner;

• Autonomous;

• Excellent ability to lead multiple projects;

• Team player.
