What You’ll Be Doing The Mobile Mortgage Advisor Assistant reports to a Central Manager within the Sales Effectiveness team. They assist the CIBC Mortgage Advisors by assuming responsibility for the administrative support activities for the CIBC Mortgage Advisor so that they can operate in an efficient manner. They are responsible for the following activities: planning and carrying out administrative duties in support of the CIBC Mortgage Advisor helping them achieve their primary objective to grow and cultivate a referral network. They assist the Mortgage Advisors in achieving sales targets across all parameters of the business plan by providing excellent administrative support. They assist CIBC MAs in the application process, obtaining all pertinent personal and credit information from the client, confirm employment, salary and source of down payment They maintain confidentiality of all client information and files at all times Review incoming mail/email, respond or refer to Mortgage Advisor as appropriate Proactively provide exceptional client service by demonstrating professionalism, commitment to service and following up with every client interaction Provide administrative support with marketing and business development activities, which are designed to facilitate new business, by identifying, attracting clients to the Mortgage Advisor What We’re Looking For Working knowledge of the CIBC’s organization structure and business activities. Strong interpersonal & communication skills to deal effectively with a range of people. Strong technical skills in some of the following areas: spreadsheet and word processing packages, CIBC’s financial accounting, administrative systems & processes, and LANs. Proven ability to deal appropriately with confidential information and sensitive issues. Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills required (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint). Experience in residential mortgages is an asset.
