POSITION OVERVIEW The Analyst, Performance Measures is responsible to perform and report on detailed analysis of portfolio, loans authorizations and operational performance measures, while ensuring integrity of data, accurate communication of information and enhancements of reports for management.

– Provide support to Director, Performance Measures by preparing detailed analysis
– Prepare and distribute accurate monthly/quarterly reports in a timely manner; provide insight on results and key areas to focus on; while ensuring integrity of data, accurate communication of information and enhancements of reports.

– Assist in the maintenance and updating of existing programs to provide required data to the other members of the department.

– Conduct analysis on volume activity, portfolio growth, pricing, profitability, efficiency, horsepower capacity, loan origination processes, delays of treatment/processes and online/digital activity
– Develop diagnostic reports on the achievement of performance objectives for individual field levels for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews; keep management abreast of results
– Participate in identifying, analyzing and monitoring current and historical trends in BDC’s portfolio of loans and authorizations, securities and disbursement, underwriting and portfolio management and bringing to management’s attention any developments that may impact BDC.

– Develop means to extract pertinent information from all available databases, including People Soft, Business Object and CREM), to focus on and monitor critical factors of success related to Financing operations and results.

– University degree in mathematics, business analytics, finance, financial engineering, accounting or economics
– Two to four years of professional experience in related fields
– Minimum of one year of experience in banking, financial analysis, performance analytics, market risk management or portfolio risk management
– Master and/or professional titles in related fields are an asset
– Strong computer skills (Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Power Query and Pivot, Business Objects)
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Ability to organize and collect data for management reporting purposes
– Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
– Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills
– Demonstrate Initiative and creativity
