One of our major banking clients is looking for a Bank Servicing Representative (cash management, operations, wire payments) Length: Contract term is 6 months with a strong possibility of extension Location: Montreal, QC
– remote after training period Hours: Sun to Thursday; 6pm-2:30am Please note: The position will also likely require the ability to work remotely after a training period length of time to be determined in the future, as such the employee should have access to a high speed internet connection if working remotely.

The position will deal with FXMM confirmation and settlement with a strong emphasis on CLS Operations.

Specific operational processes include pre and post settlement support related to account opening, confirmation, cash management, margin, and collateralization.

Also provides support for specialized operations
– Asset Servicing (corporate actions/entitlements), Correspondent Banking Services, and the Wire Payment Operations hub for the bank.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory topics and reporting requirements related to the products and processes it supports.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):.

– Exhibit effective follow through and ownership in every customer interaction.

– Handling of special services, such as foreign money and collections.

– Accept and process customer transactions accurately and timely.

– Provide professional, courteous and friendly customer service, greeting all customers promptly and pleasantly.

– Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

– Attend all branch meetings.

– Identify customer needs and matches needs with appropriate product or service, utilizing opportunities to suggest or cross-sell other bank products and services.

– Manage and adhere to cash drawer limits set by the bank.

TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
– There may a requirement to confirm trades over the phone from time to time.

The candidate must be comfortable on the phone and have a proper level of English.

– Ability to understand workflow and product life cycles.

– Strong analytic performance
– Attention to detail NICE TO HAVES:
– Previous experience with applications such as (wallstreet systems
– MYSIS -FXALL-OMGEO alert -bloomberg Go
– An understanding of French written and spoken is strong plus but not a hard requirement.

The vast majority of the work is in English and strong communication skills in those languages are a must.

SOFT SKILLS:
– Ability to develop customer relationships.

– Ability to make sound transactional decisions to ensure policies and directives are met.

– Ability to accurately understand and respond appropriately when interacting with customers, co-workers and management.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
– 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience
– High school diploma or equivalent
