You will be responsible for coordinating quality strategy and standards across the team by defining and implementing detailed, comprehensive automated test strategy and leading the day to day testing.Role-Specific AccountabilitiesDevelop and execute test strategies and test plans with a focus on optimized coverage across work streams.Maximize test automation coverage by bringing in “automation first” mindset and look for opportunities to shift-left testing in the delivery processLead and mentor a team of QE professionals and drive testing priorities to achieve the necessary business outcomesIdentify and select industry best practices, to support continuous process improvements and efficiencies in the overall QE processes and implement test metrics culture to demonstrate continuous improvementsWork collaboratively with cross functional teams and infuse quality in every phase of SDLCDeveloping, enhancing and executing manual and automated functional testsQualificationsA Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training5 years of QA experience in a related roles(s) within the Capital markets industryMinimum 3 years leadership experience leading QE initiatives / QE transformation programsExperience with QA processes and methodologies required; automated and manual test processes, test planning, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testingExperienced in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentHands on experience in SQL scripting for Data transformation, data quality/completeness validationProficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C# with experience in development and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks / Test HarnessHands on experience working with UI automation tools like Selenium, UFT, API test automation tools like Postman, SoapUI etc.Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementationExperience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes, and work management tools: JIRA, ConfluenceDemonstrated analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detailAbility to learn new concepts, and adapt to changing priorities and new challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Preferred SkillsKnowledge of AWS/and or AzureExperience in DevOps tools like Codebase, Kubernettes, and/or JenkinsAdditional InformationVisit our Linkedin Career Page or Follow us on Linkedin.
