Position overview Reporting to the CEO, the incumbent acts as a financial and administrative partner to management and other stakeholders.

He oversees all accounting, management, treasury, tax and financial communication functions within the organization while respecting generally accepted accounting principles and local tax rules.

The incumbent must mobilize a high-performing team by promoting the achievement of set objectives and stimulating collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities
· Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of accounting and finance functions strategically and ensure the development of team members;
· Develop accounting policies, procedures and internal control rules and ensure their application and compliance;
· Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summary statements and other business analysis and financial management reports in an international context;
· Support management and various managers for their financial information needs;
· Ensure sound cash management and guarantee the security of financial flows;
· Coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process, analyze it and correct forecasts, with a view to improving competitiveness;
· Oversee relations with the independent auditors and oversee the annual audit;
· Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and tools as well as interactions with the ERP, propose and monitor improvements;
· Ensure compliance and tax optimization of the various subsidiaries around the world;
· Identify and manage business risks and insurance and regulatory reporting requirements;
· Participate in special projects.

Requirements
· University degree in accounting or finance;
· Professional title of CPA;
· A minimum of seven (7) years of experience, including two (2) years in a management position;
· Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken and written), knowledge of Spanish is an asset;
· Experience in multifiliates and internationally;
· Good knowledge of tax concepts;
· Good knowledge of known office applications (Windows environment (office));
· Knowledge of ERP systems (an asset).
