Financial Services Assistant

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted July 15, 2021.

Overview We are looking for a Financial Services Assistant to provide a range of clerical and administrative services to support the Financial Services Delivery department.

In this role, you will prepare a variety of materials, collect data/information, review for completeness and report financial information related to business strategy and planning, budgeting and forecasting, purchasing and expenditures, asset management, I&T systems projects, systems operations, PC training, and I&T facilities management.

What you’ll do We’re looking for someone who can: Provide assistance and support to the department by working independently and with others to collect, store, and report financial information Process purchasing requests by completing a purchase requisition based on information received Provides clerical assistance to senior analysts as needed Process work order requests in the work worder management system and liaisons with other divisional staff through to completion of these requests Prepare departmental information to be posted to the department web-based Intranet (WSN) site as required Utilize PC software applications to create and maintain information in spreadsheets and databases Is this a good fit for you?

We’re looking for someone who can: Provide outstanding customer service Obtain and record information both orally and in writing Multi-task within a wide variety of assigned duties Accurately work with detailed information Meet constantly changing deadlines This position requires regular and punctual attendance Your experience and educational background: A minimum of grade 12 education Recent, related work experience in a clerical role Use Microsoft Word proficiently Type a minimum of 45 words per minute We’ll consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
