**Please send all letters of application, accompanied by a curriculum vitae directly by email to Adriana**The Max Bell School for Policy Policy invites applications for theSydney Duder Professorship in Program Evaluation for the 2020/21 academic year.

This position is open to professors, scholars or senior policy practitioners who through research, teaching or professional experience are engaged and knowledgeable in program evaluation as it is applies to public policy.

The position is for one year or less; the salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the duration of the appointment.The successful candidate will be expected to teach a 2-credit, one-week seminar on program evaluation in the School’s Master of Public Policy (MPP) program in spring 2021.

They will also be expected to participate in the academic activities of the School.

This may include mentoring students, developing research, or delivering lectures, webinars or workshops.The Max Bell School of Public Policy in the Faculty of Arts at McGill University launched in 2017 with a teaching and research mandate that extends to policy engagement and public education.

At its core is the School’s Master of Public Policy (MPP) program; an 11-month private andprofessional graduate program inaugurated in 2019.

Due to disruptions caused by COVID-19, the School’s programs will be delivered remotely in fall 2020, and in-person in winter/spring 2021.This professorship is funded with a generous donation to the Max Bell School from Dr.

Sydney Duder, a long-time professor in McGill’s School of Social Work who has a passion for public policy and especially for program evaluation.

As stated on her McGill webpage, ” Dr.

Duder believes that good research and program evaluation can be very effective strategies in dealing with today’s worrisome political and social problems.” Letters of application should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae and sent by email to Adriana will be accepted until the position is filled.
