Today’s modern workplace demands new types of creative thinking in maintaining sales expectations. As a Dynamic Sales Associate (SA), you will have the opportunity to learn about our products and industry, participate in the growth of sales and develop your own personal and business skills.

 

A Sales Associate works closely with Dynamic Wholesalers and Inside Sales Representatives to complete a variety of administrative tasks. Multi-tasking, adaptability, attention to detail, prioritization and effective communication are the key attributes one must possess to be successful in the role complimented by 1 year of experience within the Financial Services Industry.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Complete monthly expense reports in a timely manner, including categorizing, and itemizing all receipts.
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to extensively plan and coordinate client centric activities, such as formal lunch and dinners, sporting activities and virtual classes.
  • Master of email management: cascading emails to clients on behalf of the Sales Team, managing multiple email accounts, unsubscribing clients when requested and managing distribution lists.
  • Send business promotional products to clients as requested.
  • Subject Matter Expert of sales reporting; producing reports for Wholesalers and Inside Sales Representatives to increase sales within their territory.
  • Tech savviness and the proficiency in a wide range of platforms, including Windows Office, CRM, sales collaboration, and analytical tools.
  • Phone, email, and face-to-face communication with Wholesalers and Inside Sales Representatives to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify and populate information within the CRM in a timely basis, as information and data are primary drivers of business strategy.
  • Align with Business Controls and Compliance to maintain sales activities and communication that are within our guidelines.
  • Collaborate with members of the team to determine priorities and tasks to be completed.
  • Participate in special projects, departmental and project group meetings, and sharing feedback when needed.
  • Adhere to Scotiabank Global Sales Principles and understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, Business Administration.
  • CSC or IFIC certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Super collaborator with impeccable communications skills in English and French.
