Collection Agent

We are a 3rd party collections agency, who partners with a variety of key credit grantors in various industry segments including financial institutions, government, telecommunications, utilities, post-secondary education institutions, commercial, health and insurance.Responsibilities

• Utilize our skip tracing tools and databases to locate consumers
• Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts (outbound and inbound calls)
• Analyze and update consumers account information to determine the best possible solution for the account
• Clearly documents call results and content of calls
• Manage workloads/lists of consumers who have failed to make payments
• Abide by all Collection Agency Acts and Regulations as legislated in each Province
• Uphold the client (Creditor) work plans and the ARO code of ethics by treating consumers with honesty, dignity, and respect at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of 3rd Party Collection experience preferred
• Customer service, Call center or Sales experience considered an asset
• Strong Negotiating and Conflict Resolution skills
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Strong Organizational Skills

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Must work in office for a minimum of 90 days, then potential for Hybrid schedule based on performance.
