Pursuing its growth objectives, Alithya continues to invest in its digital transformation, including the continuous improvement of its Human Resources Information System (HRIS): the Oracle HCM Cloud solution.

Under the supervision of the Director, HRIS and Human Capital Services, the incumbent will provide first level expertise, technical and analytical support to the Human Capital team and other third parties in the organization. This person will also be responsible for the support, configuration and maintenance of the new Human Capital Services (HCS) ticketing and request management solution; the Freshservice solution. He/she will assist in the identification and analysis of requirements, evaluation and resolution of various requests – e.g., navigation, data, workflow, modelling of the Human Capital team’s business processes and those procedures for use. In addition, he/she will actively participate in various projects with other members of the Human Capital and/or Operations team.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, methods and guides to ensure continuity of our operations, testing and deployment;
  • Make recommendations for improvement of certain processes, documents and practices, and participate in their implementation;
  • Collaborate with other members of the extended Human Capital team in the coordination of related and diverse activities/projects;
  • Collaborate in analyzing the business needs of the various stakeholders in the organization and answer their HRIS questions;
  • Develop, execute and analyze reports and performance indicators (KPIs) related to the activities managed by Human Capital on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy of data and employee records in the various systems and then report any corrective actions to be taken – e.g. Internal Audit and Quality Assurance. Implement these evaluation mechanisms;
  • Work closely with the functional analysts and developers on the internal Oracle practice team;
  • Work to resolve submitted issues and inform users of the cause and solutions as needed;
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
  • Analyze, confirm and assign to a member of the SCH team the requests assigned to Human Capital Services via our Freshservice ticketing and request management solution;
  • Administer our Freshservice ticketing and request management solution: analyze and model the needs for continuous improvement of the solution, configure and maintain the solution.

Does this sound like you?

  • University degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Administration, Information Technology or other related field;
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of proven experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in the technology industry (an asset);
  • Knowledge of:
    • Oracle HCM Cloud;
    • Oracle’s OTBI and BI analytical tools;
    • SQL and HTML programming language (an asset);
    • Freshservice (an asset);
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Outlook and SharePoint).
  • Perfect bilingualism and written and verbal communication skills in both English and French;
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee status, or work permit in Canada;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Highly motivated to work;
  • Good organizational and work planning skills;
  • Autonomous with the ability to manage multiple projects, requests and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required;
  • Recognized for your proactive and human approach in identifying and implementing innovative solutions, and your customer service;
  • Accurate, rigorous, quick to execute and excellent follow-up skills;
  • Recognized for your analytical skills and pragmatism;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong and lasting interpersonal relationships;
  • Ability to express ideas clearly, convincingly, honestly and persuasively so that messages are clear, well understood and consistent with the objectives;
  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to succeed;
