Product owner domestic Payments EFT

Your job

• Plan, prioritize, coordinate and monitor the modernization of domestic commercial payments;
• Ensure alignment of the product vision with the Bank’s vision and needs;
• Contribute to the definition of the product’s strategic orientations in collaboration with the Delivery Squad as well as the Lead PO (Senior Director);
• Use your in-depth business knowledge and solution delivery experience to act as an expert in linking with other initiatives and intervening with numerous internal (regulatory, compliance, fraud, product, IT, etc.) and external stakeholders;
• Lead the decision-making process through your recommendations, drawing on your extensive experience in domestic payments and influencing the Payments sector.

Your team

In the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector, you will be part of a large team of 9 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager Domestic Payments ACSS.  As part of a team of senior POs and consultants, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and contribute to the delivery of various projects aimed at adapting and modernizing the bank’s commercial payment systems in Canada and internationally.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree related to the industry and 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree related to the industry and 6 years of relevant experience;
• Excellent understanding of payment systems (EFT and EDI) and good understanding of payment products and cash management;
• Experience in delivering large-scale projects;
• Experience in business analysis and process review;
• Demonstrate a strong sense of rigor and priority management;
• Influential leadership and excellent team player;
