You will be responsible for coordinating the sales force and business development in your area. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and sees opportunity in any situation. You will will be tasked with developing a growth strategy in order to achieve the goals of the organization. An experienced team will surround you to support you. Alithya is a public company that is currently experiencing strong growth. We are looking to add people with extensive business development experience to our team to help us grow even faster in specific areas.

  • Lead the business development of your sector in the information technology environment;
  • Lead and ensure the development of a multidisciplinary sales team;
  • Meet and exceed the objectives of the assigned territory/area by promoting and selling solutions and consulting services;
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with business partners on business relationship activities;
  • Ensure compliance with the ISO process for customer and consultant satisfaction;
  • Identify business opportunities among our existing clients to generate growth within existing accounts;
  • Identify potential customers and develop an effective lead conversion strategy;
  • Document and maintain the short- and medium-term account plan for our clients;
  • Document and maintain all activities related to client opportunities (in the CRM tool);
  • Interact on a regular basis and in an effective manner primarily with the following groups: Practice, Recruiting, Legal, Finance and Human Capital;
  • Represent the organization at corporate and business events;
  • Know the market trends and make recommendations to senior management;
  • Participate in the bid writing process and make presentations to our clients.

When it just clicks!

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a business development position in the IT and/or consulting industry;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management/strategy position;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology in one of the following sectors: health, transportation, telecommunications, manufacturing, insurance, banking, retail;
  • Recognized for credibility and strong relationships built with senior management clients;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Natural leadership and strong team spirit;
  • Excellent network of contacts in the IT industry, both at the client and supplier/partner levels, as well as a good understanding of the issues and important players in the business sector;
  • Strong analytical skills for problem solving, strategy development and business evaluation;
  • Experience in the development of a new sector (important asset);
  • Communication with teams in French and English. Functional bilingualism (French and English), written and spoken, required. Level expected:
    • French: 4/4
    • English: 4/4
