Job Description If you have:Supervisory Experience (Staffing, Delegation, Performance Management, Organization, Foster Teamwork, Giving Feedback)Experience buying perishable and/or nonperishable itemsProblem solving skillsAbility to perform multiple tasks at onceWork independently and stay focusedAbility to communicate and interact well with customers and vendorsUnderstanding of work qualityStrong knowledge with Windows-based computer operating systems and softwarePositive Attitude with excellent customer service skillsStrong attention to detail, recognize and report issuesSelf-Motivated to get assigned work completedWillingness and personality suited to work in a team oriented environmentFluent in French and EnglishSupervisory ResponsibilitiesManages procurement/customer service staff service byHiring and training new employeesCoach, counsel and discipline employees (in collaboration with HR)Monitoring company policies and procedures.Establishing and monitoring employee work schedules, workload, KPIs, resolving administrative problems, maintaining reference manuals, implementing new procedures.Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality service and resolve any issues that arise.Implement educational workshops for staff by working with our vendors.Buyer TasksPrint reports and purchase ordersEmail cribs for any product requests to be transferred between plantsCheck for inventory discrepancies and correctPrepare planner sheets, place proposed orders.Order product from approved planner sheets.Respond to discrepancies received by comparison of purchase orders to packing list and invoicesContact vendors to resolve any issues related to received shipments.Communicate purchase orders to selected vendors (verbal, fax, or email)Expedite open purchase orders and resolve related problemsEvaluate usage and replenishment recordsFill Shop Requests for products not currently carried.Continually look for better products, compare pricing, and note trends in usageKeep work area organized and cleanAddress special projects as assigned by Manager Company Description You will be working for an innovative supplier of industrial products and services that produce Best-in-Class cost savings for our customers.
