Desktop Support Technician Montreal, QCOn behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Desktop Support Technician for a 5 month contract in Montreal, QC.Desktop Support Technician Job DetailsIn order to deliver our exceptional services, we need a team of dedicated and enthusiastic, hard-working, and customer service oriented technicians!

That’s where you come in!Act as a support resource to Service Desk Team, deskside technician team and the to PC Imaging/Staging lab.

This role is the last support level in the support team and mainly serves as the last resolution point or as a triage point for uncommon PC/Laptop problems.

Work is of relatively medium to high complexity level.Desktop Support Technician ResponsibilitiesProvide second level support to technicians and PC staging technicians.Troubleshoot PC Imaging/staging problems Work with IT business representatives and application owners to resolve issuesWork with Level 3 teams to address issues related to software packaging or other infrastructure systemsCreate document to resolve known issues for the Service Desk team and the deskside technicians.Participate in technical meetings as SME for the PCs platformWork with Software vendors and OEM to resolve issues related to their product.Desktop Support Technician Must Have SkillsRelevant technical qualification and at least 3-5 years relevant work experience.

Knowledge and understanding in PC hardware and software support and understanding of LAN’s technologies. Attainment or working towards Microsoft Windows 10 and office certificationsExcellent communication skills in French and EnglishMicrosoft certified (Office, Windows or other related certification)High level of technical expertise on Microsoft products.Microsoft SCCM knowledge is considered an assetDesktop Support Technician Nice to Have SkillsPersonableRelatable and responsible when interacting with ALL customersInsatiable desire for knowledge, independence, and success—strive for more than the status quo.Not intimidated by problems you’ve never seen before—confidence is key!Desktop Support Technician Assignment Length5 Months???????Desktop Support Technician LocationMontreal, QCDesktop Support Technician Start DateASAP
