Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Sr.

Secret Cleared Project Manager/Scrum Master to support a large modernization initiative working on a digital operation and evolve their current infrastructure.

Tasks Include: Facilitates Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective meetings; Process conflict resolution amongst team members Communicate and makes sure that the Agile Team adheres to the Agile Principles and Standards set forward by Global Affairs Canada’s Subject Matter Experts; Tracks and removes impediments known as Roadblocks with the Agile Team Performs knowledge transfer to the Agile Team regarding Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing and Agile Games ; Performs knowledge transfer to the Agile Team regarding Work Items/Tasks, Backlog Tracking, Burndown, Metrics, Velocity, User Stories, Scale Agile Framework (SAFe), etc.

Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide the teams to higher levels of scrum maturity Manage project timelines, budgets, and maintain costs to remain within or under budget; Work with Product Owners to handle backlog grooming and new requests; Work closely with software/web developers, architects, business analysts, designers, and the client’s representatives to define the direction and approach to project design and execution; Facilitate internal communications and be the point of contact with external stakeholders; Estimate and track project velocity, costs, develop resource plans, and work to assess potential issues and risks; Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes effectively perform Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Estimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines Document roadblocks, bugs and other project issues, in the context of a business intelligence, data warehouse or analytics project Must Have: 10 Years as a Project Manager Agile Scrum Master certification (PMI, Agile Alliance, Scrum.Org) 5 years in the last 10 years producing Agile artifacts, and Product Backlog items 5 years in the last 10 years facilitating agile workshops
