That’s why, we continue to follow the Public Health Agency of Canada’s recommendations closely.We remain close to you, while keeping our distance via Phone, Skype, Zoom or however you like.Take your ambitions to the next levelYou will play a key role in enabling user/technology adoption, improving user engagement and trust in the application.You will be conducting user research, creating journey maps and wireframes to define optimal system usability.

You will also be responsible for producing high fidelity mock-ups, visual prototypes as well as initial UI code framework for front-end efficiency and cohesive backend integration.

You will collaborate with application and data designers to understand the business rules and data flows that need to be considered to design the user interface, to support code development, and to ensure that the product meets client needs.Conduct user workshops and stakeholder interviews to discover range of opportunities for experience improvement; Facilitateclient vision, leading user experience workshops to determine target audiences, user needs, data requirements and compile them into user flows and storyboards; Understandbusiness rules, user-system interaction, data models and flows, to ideate and translate concept to begin laying out interfaces (wireframes); Understandand work with various technologies to determine the appropriate framework to produce the application; Produce High-Fidelity mockups and prototypes; Produce visual assets such as icons and visual style guide elements; Improve proposed model through usability sessions and user feedback; Document user interface behavior and interaction patterns; Collaborate with UI developers to provide integration solutions for applications; ensuring the usability interface components are optimally performing well with dynamic data; Drive usability testing with the business and adjust product to improve user experience.When it just clicks!Does this sound like you?Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences; Software Engineering; Graphic / Visual design (or equivalent training); Minimum of5 years of relevant experience in using UI/UX design best practices to design solutions, responsive design and Front-End Development; Strong knowledge of UI concepts; Experiencein the following:developing UX and interaction flows for visual designs; building prototypes and high-fidelity visual mockups from UX flows; using design tools such as Sketch and InVision; Front-End Framework libraries, and custom integration using HTML5, CSS3 and Preprocessors (Both LESS and SASS), JavaScript (jQuery); vector-based and/or prototyping applications (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Interactive Design, Axure, MarvelApp).Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies; Ability towork with business clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision; Understandthe importance of user-centered design; Demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver work as a remote team member; Languages required:English: 4/4 WHERE YOU NEED TO BE Life at Alithya 37.5 hours per week; Opportunities to develop and grow your career; Work with diverse technologies, projects, clients and sectors; Spend yourdays in a creative and innovative environment; Share experience and knowledge as part of an agile and dynamic team; A great balance between work and personal life; Access to exciting educational opportunities (internal, conferences, events, courses, certifications, etc.); Personal recognition of your important professional contributions; Great cultural diversity across our teams.
