You will have an overview of new project briefs, working closely with team leads to assign appropriate resources based on specific project needs.The role of Traffic Manager is crucial to keeping Visual Capitalist running smoothly and will be responsible for recommending and executing on improvements to the production process.Day-to-day tasks may involve:Being the touch point at key points in the project lifecycle, from brief intake to publicationManaging the intake of new project briefs and compiling project timelines, ensuring briefs contain the necessary information and the team has access to any assets requiredHolding update meetings with stakeholders to coordinate project progressMonitoring creative team workload and re-routing resources as necessary, in order to maintain a balanced capacityWorking with department leads to move deadlines or outsourcing resources to meet workload demand in cases where the team is already working at capacityNavigating projects through the internal approval process, with assertiveness in enforcing timelines and processForecasting short, medium, and long term resource requirements, and flagging the need for additional personnel in advanceThe successful Traffic Manager is:An effective communicator, with the ability to work well with team members at all levels and from various departmentsDetail-oriented, organized, and performs well under pressureA problem solver at heart, with a logical and fair approach to tasksAble to adapt to rapidly changing prioritiesA quicker learner, with a good understanding of the creative production process and the needs of stakeholdersProficient in computer software, from project management tools to Microsoft Office programsAble to make recommendations on process that improve productivity and efficiencyExperienced in working in fast-paced creative teams (2-3 years creative agency experience or equivalent)Traits: Adaptable, resourceful, curious, efficient, detail-oriented, some interest in business and financial current events.Compensation and WorkThe successful candidate will take a full-time role with us with fair compensation depending on experience.
