Edgenda: Devops/Infrastructure Cloud Engineer


This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted July 20, 2021.

At Edgenda, you’ll have the opportunity to apply hands on expertise as a DevOps/Infrastructure Cloud Egineer with our clients and design and implement advanced analytics environments in the cloud.

You will work on complex AI solutions to design, develop and orchestrate data pipeline, from ingestion to consumption/servicing layer.How you can get involvedEstablish domain expertise with hands-on integration of advanced analytics solutions.

Develop system integration strategies for product solutions involving compute, network and storage technologies on azure cloud.

Develop technical relationships with different teams.

Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.

Automate the CICD pipelines.

Work with security and infrastructure team to coordinate the deployment according to compliance requirements.

Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps and infrastructure Experience working with big data tools, such as; Databricks, Spark and Hadoop.

Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.

Experience in Azure Data Factory, Airflow, App services, Stream-processing system.

Experience in programming in Python and Scala.

Experience working in AI environments Experience working in Agile organizations.

Required SkillsGood understanding of SQL, “Big data” data pipelines, architectures and data sets.

Ability to automate DevOps pipeline installation and configuration.

Hands-on systems (azure systems & services) debugging skills for critical software.

Knowledge of linux, terraform and ansible.

Professional attitude and service orientation; superb team player.

Good written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross-functional teams.

Able to build a sense of trust and contribute to a comfortable & effective workplace.

Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced, startup-like environment.
