Our client, an engineering consulting company, is looking to fill a Civil/ Mechanical Engineer position in Burlington, ON.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, concrete design knowledge for fuel tanks, and a P.Eng license would be preferred.
This will be a 6 month contract that may become permanent.
Qualifications / Aptitude:Concrete design knowledge for fuel tanks.Knowledge of storage tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids.Pump skids systems for delivery to tanks and plants.Telemetry systems, upgrading intrinsically safe electrical and piping for new delivery systems.Design experience for dispensers used for delivery to vehicle outdoor fill systems.Engineering knowledge for the design of protective barriers, fencing, grounding/ bonding & signage.Designknowledge when designing proper drainage and spill containment sump pits and pumps integration with the existing systems.Design background for Fire Alarm Systems.Procurement of Tanks and Tank system components.Knowledge of necessary permits & government approval requirements.Knowledge of all regulatory requirements including but not limited to O.
Reg.
213/07, 256/14, 217/01 & other applicable Provincial/ Federal/ TSSA/ NFPA standards.Willingness to travel.
