In the context of the merger between two large insurance companies and for the integration projects of the IT department aimed at setting up the technological foundations of the new entity, we are looking for A rchitecture Advisors to join the teams and participate in the delivery of these different projects.

The Advisor will report to one of the 2 Executive Team Leads, depending on the profile, act as a technology analyst, and work closely with other team members within an Agile Kanban operating framework.

Take your ambitions to the next level Define, analyze, and propose innovative visions, orientations and technological architectures according to organizational needs in relation to the operation of the office environment and its ecosystem; Establish the architecture and the technological roadmap (hardware and software) necessary to support the evolution and operation of the office environment; Influence management, through leadership, in the implementation and integration of new IT visions and directions; Ensure the certification of new office automation tools to be added to the company’s software; Propose strategies and solutions to monitor, improve, and optimize the performance of existing infrastructures (performance indicators); Ensure the technological watch of the office environments and relations with the suppliers; Participate in the negotiation of agreements and service contracts with suppliers during the acquisition of services and the renewal of maintenance contracts; Collaborate with partners to promote the sharing of best practices, the use of office infrastructures, and collaboration in order to optimize IT investments; Provide support during the implementation of projects; Organize, supervise or conduct information sessions for internal or external resources on elements related to office technologies and collaboration; Assume any other (related) responsibilities as requested by the immediate superior.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or appropriate discipline; Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role or ten (10) years of relevant experience; Innovative and creative, results-oriented, customer-focused and future-oriented; Excellent collaborator with the ability to be agile and persuasive; Advanced analytical skills and a high degree of autonomy; Constant desire to learn and improve; Ability to communicate, popularize, and synthesize; Professional skills: Soft skills preferred; Sense of organization, method, and good time management; Able to work under pressure and meticulous; Team player/collaborator; Ability to work on several requests at the same time; Experience working in an Agile environment, particularly with Kanban (asset).

Technical requirements: Extensive knowledge of core Microsoft technologies and its ecosystem: Windows 10/Office, SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, Exchange; In-depth knowledge of O 365 and Azure cloud services; Participation in various service deployment projects (migration to Exchange Online, Intune, etc.); Advanced knowledge of office virtualization solutions, such as Citrix, XenApp/XenDesktop, and others; Experience in technology integration following a company merger (very important asset).

Excellent ability to communicate with teams in French and English, both written and spoken.
