Maintenance Coordinator

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 13, 2022.

Our innovative government client is searching for a Bilingual Maintenance Coordinator to support their Manufacturing Centre onsite in Montreal, Quebec. Your role will be providing support to the maintenance department to ensure proper and efficient operations are carried out. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will start with a three months contract.

Roles and Resposibilities:
• Communicate and track the execution of the maintenance plans effectively.
• Coordinate outside suppliers coming on site.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help solve problems/troubleshoot, resolve ongoing/long term issues.
• Ensure detailed maintenance schedules are met and participate in the shutdown schedules.
• Develop and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to support company goals and objectives.
• Manage the maintenance spare parts inventory.
• Participate in the writing and review SOP and Work Instructions.
• Assist in the authoring of change control requests and the documentation of incident reports & investigations.
• Participate in the impact assessments for change control requests and make sure that closure dates are respected for investigations and CAPAs.

Qualifications and Experience
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in relevant discipline (chemical, mechanical or similar) or a College diploma in Engineering, such as mechanical, electrical or electronic or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
• Must have Experience working in GMP manufacturing operations.
• Must have experience in working in a maintenance department using CMMS.
• Must have knowledge of best practices in maintenance management.
• Must have general knowledge of codes, norms and legislation.
• Must have knowledge of and experience with building automation systems and utility management software.
• Must have knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule where overtime may be required and on short notice, including nights, weekends and statutory holidays.
• Must be able to work wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be Bilingual (BBB/BBB)
