Role & Responsibilities:

Upon your arrival, you will support the Project Management Office team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of  projects and business processes. You will report to the Senior Director PMO. As part of your role, you will be responsible for setting up and supporting the company's processes mainly in the field of resource management. Some of the initiatives are  Prepare the Risk Management Plan included in the Project Execution Plan (PEP). This Risk Management Plan will be tailored to the specific project phase and Client requirements.

  • Resource management governance, monthly overall management (Offer and demand) and reporting
  • Resource management migration into D365 project
  • Long term resource management planning and forecasting
  • Project lessons learned program management
  • Support on reports and tools (Power BI, Utrakk, etc.)

 

Globally, you will perform analysis, progress monitoring and reporting to help identify gaps and areas of improvement. You will provide a structured framework and management information, allowing for timely escalation of issues and risks mitigations that impact the success of the initiatives. You will ensure a good collaboration with the different departments to identify solutions and implement corrective actions. You will have to master IT tools and software’s such as Dynamics 365 to ensure their integration through the company's processes. You will have to lead corporate projects that help the company or project improve their tools or processes. 

Your role and responsibilities will be the following:

  • Understand the company’s needs, identify solutions, and ensure by a structured approach to implement actions or improvement projects.
  • Know the basics in project management such as scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, status reporting, change management and resource planning.
  • Identify issues, trends and root causes of deviations and choose the actions to be accomplished by considering multiple factors. Prioritize the actions to be carried out by ensuring compliance with the required deadlines and delays
  • Take action on your own when the situation requires it, use your judgment and make decisions in the best interest of your project
  • Participate in the development of the skills and competencies of the stakeholders in a project in the interest of the team and objectives
  • Facilitate the flow of information in the organization and demonstrate strategies in the collection and coordination of information
  • Lead the resource management process, identify issues/risks and implement solutions.
  • Update steering committees’ presentations with the information you are provided through the processes you lead.
  • Participate in PMO initiatives related to strategy implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the IT Team on the development of corporative tools or specific reports on PowerBI.
  • Perform clear and accurate procedure
  • Facilitate the implementation of a standard PMO methodology
  • Understand the processes and contribute as stakeholder for a proper application process

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant program (technical or business related).
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and project controls
  • Bilingual (French & English).
  • Strong knowledge of PMI processes
  • Hands-on experience working with MS tools: SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 considered a strong asset
  • Long term vision and passion for continuous improvement
  • Learn Six sigma certification is an asset
