Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to join the strength of our client’s management team. The individual will participate with management in the evaluation of projects and lead their design and implementation.

Duties

• Design of efficient energy reduction systems;
• Drawing up plans and specifications;
• Supervise and assist engineering staff in their daily tasks;
• Ensure project start-up meetings both internally and with clients;
• Participate actively in management meetings;
• Support the sales department with your technical knowledge during meetings with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline;
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
• Mastery of calculations related to energy efficiency;
• Experience in project management in industrial and commercial environments;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and resourcefulness;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes;
• Bilingualism in English and French, both written and spoken;
• Experience in consulting engineering.
