Technician, Biomedical Innovation

BY JOINING THE PRODUCTION TEAM, YOU WILL PARTICULARLY:

• Handcraft and assemble small components, mechanical or otherwise, using a microscope and/or tool.
• Participate in the design and development of medical devices.
• Set up and perform tests to verify the viability and performance of medical devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on laboratory equipment.
• Follow SOP’s, procedures, and ensure standards are met, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Assist in drafting test reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Develop manufacturing process to achieve satisfactory results in terms of objectives and specifications.
• Perform work in accordance with ISO 13485 Quality Management System.
• Work independently and can carry out specific tasks or small-scale projects with minimal follow-up, advice and supervision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

• Technical diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical field.
• Demonstrate autonomy, creativity and dexterity.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.
• Knowledge in the field of electronics, machining and instrumentation is an asset.
• Flexible, hardworking and able to work under pressure.
• Inquiring mind and synthesis.
• Advanced level of French, oral and written;
• Advanced level of English, in order to interact with customers and suppliers who are mainly international. To be in compliance with international industry standards.
