Psychosocial Support Worker

We are looking for a psychosocial support worker for a non-profit community organization located in the Ahuntsic neighbourhood. The support worker will have a mandate to work with men in difficulty and in distress in their conjugal relationship.

Administrative tasks:

• Conduct assessment meetings and telephone follow-up.
• Explain and specify the purpose of the intervention.
• Place orders and follow up with suppliers.
• Conduct developmental awareness activities for people in difficulty.
• Work with the whole team and employees from different environments.
• Carry out any other similar tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• DCS or Bachelor’s degree in the field of psychosocial intervention (criminology, social work or special education).
• Individual or group intervention experience.
• Member of a professional order (an asset).
• Written and verbal bilingualism (an asset).
• Experience in a community service organization.
