This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted June 4, 2021.

Our client is looking for a experienced Office Assistant to join their growing team Our client is a successful physiotherapy and rehab centre with 4 locations in the Peel and Dufferin regions, providing a variety of therapies and treatments including sports physiotherapy, chiropractic treatment, massage therapy, orthotics, acupuncture and more.

Salary: $18.00 $22.00 per hour (depending upon experience) Hours of Work: 40-44 hours a week with possible overtime.

The schedule will vary Monday to Friday between 9:00am 5:00pm or 9:00am 7:00pm.

Saturday is required: 9:00am 2:00pm.

ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients and visitors into the office, as well as responding to various inquiries through phone, email, mail or in person.

Perform various clerical tasks such as; updating contact lists and electronic databases, including patient records, photocopying, filing and general office organization.

Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation with a high level of accuracy and care.

Process payments from patient and/or submitting direct billing to insurance.

Communicate with other providers, including adjusters, WSIB adjudicators, lawyers and health care professionals.

Assist with maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the office.

Requirements 4-5 years of administrative experience in a Physiotherapy or Rehab clinic is required.

A strong understanding of the Universal software is a strong asset.

Knowledge of billing insurance including key providers, such as Telus, Green Shield, Blue Cross, WSIB and MVA.

Must be fluent in English, including written and verbal.

Knowledge of Hindi, Punjabi and/or Urdu is an asset Highly organized with above average data entry and computer skills.

Reliability and dependability is a must.

Able to multi-task with a high level of organization & attention to detail.
