At Innomar Strategies, a company of AmerisourceBergen, you will find an innovative culture that is patient focused and dedicated to making a difference Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacovigilance; the Bilingual Pharmacovigilance Associate is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the department related to Adverse Event and product Complaint reporting.

The Pharmacovigilance Associate is responsible for the organization, accuracy and completeness of Adverse Event Reports for a variety of Patient Assistance programs.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Recognize and report Adverse Events using the appropriate formsInformation Management and Pharmacovigilance: Receive, scan and document all pertinent clinical information in compliance with SOP/protocol and applicable legislation; Work directly with internal and external clients to request additional information or clarification as necessary; Assist in auditpreparationReview patient information in database and ensure accurate documentation as per client needs; Data entry of event information and pertinent details; Reconciliation of event reports; Sorting of incoming faxes and documents; andFiling of source documentationOther tasks assigned by the Manager, as needed.

Bilingualism (English/French) requiredBachelor’s degree in related discipline or diploma in a life sciences programMinimum 1 year experience in Drug Safety, Clinical Research and/or equivalent and related experience in the pharmaceutical industryFamiliarity with Adobe Pro an assetCan do attitude, with proven ability to meet strict deadlinesKnowledge of medical terminology is a strong assetAble to work any 8 hour shift between 8:00 AM-8 PM, if necessary Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office ProgramsMINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:1.
