PINNACLE HOTEL HARBOURFRONTOur hotel has been a fixture of Vancouver’s Coal Harbour neighbourhood for several decades.

With the vision of Pinnacle Hospitality Division 2015 marked a new chapter for the Hotel, becoming the latest addition to the Pinnacle family of hotels.

With a local focus and guest driven approach, we leverage our hotel’s ability to make our own decisions to ensure that we are competitive in the market and deliver the best guest experiences while planning, staying and after their stay at any Pinnacle Hotel.With 35,000 square feet of event space and 442 guestrooms, the hotel is a fixture in the local convention, meeting and social event circles of Vancouver and we are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic person to join the sales team to continue our growth in this segment of the business.JOB SUMMARY The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities for the Pinnacle Hotel Harboufront.Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.Assists in all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.Achieves personal and team sales goals.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and ExperienceMinimum two years experience in Hotel Industry.Minimum one year of experience in Hotel Sales.CORE WORK ACTIVITIESBuilding Successful Relationships that Generate Sales OpportunitiesBuilds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.

Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.Sales ActivitiesParticipates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.G., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).Sells Hotel’s 442 guestrooms and 35,000 sq feet of event space for Group Events and Social Catering events.Using Knowledge of the Market to grow and develop businessIdentifies new business to achieve revenue goals.Understands the overall market competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc.
