This position reports to the Vice President.

The person in this position will play a support role on all administrative and operational tasks of the human resources department.

The applicant has to be living in Montreal, Qc, Canada and has to be a resident or have a work permit.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO :Handle all areas of the recruitment function such as maintaining personnel requisitions, job posting, screen resumes andinterviews forall job openingsWork in partnership with various managers to ensure ongoing administration and understanding of policy or procedure practices, compensation, and benefitsProvide human resources support and advice to employees and managersManage all aspects of the administration of employee benefits, including answering benefit inquiries from employees, making decisions/resolving issues regarding employee benefit coverage, and reconciling current employee benefit data against monthly carrier billing statements to ensure accuracy of informationAssist in the development and regular review of policies and proceduresAdminister and record employee recognition and incentive programsAssist in the development of job description and keeping them currentPrepare job offers and new hire packagesCoordinate and assist with the orientation of all new hiresCoordinate and assist with training programsMaintainthe pay equity programCoordinate theannual performance management programAdministration of health and safety policies, practices and programsMaintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systemsProvide detailed employee reports upon requestParticipate in organizing events and social activitiesProvide research and prepare correspondence, reports and presentations as neededTranslate HR communications and documentsPrepare and process payroll and commission paymentPrepare team bonding activities for the teamOther duties as assignedWHAT MAKES A GREAT CANDIDATE:Completion of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources managementMinimum experience of approximately 4 years in a similar positionPerfectly Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken, Spanishis an assetGood organizational skills, priority management, etcAutonomy, discretion and professionalismWHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER :We want the best of the best and make sure that our team is rewarded with the best!We offer a benefits package with a focus on your wellbeing.This includes: Paid Time Off, Health Insurance, RSP with company match, Group Insurance and many more office perks!We offer a fun & challenging working environment.Great support and mentorship programs.Casual Dress Code.Trans-Pro’s offices are located in the Old Port of Montreal just minutes from the Lachine Canal bike path, a prime location for picnics or jogging at lunch time.
