To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com Job Description What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be joining the Internal Applications team within CIBC’s Personal Banking Products Technology group.

You’ll be at the heart of a team bringing innovative technology to life as part of CIBC’s digital transformation.

As an Application Developer, you’ll lead the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

You’ll build easy, flexible, and personalized banking solutions that enhance client experience and help build the bank of the future.

How You’ll Succeed Programming Skills
– Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments.

Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging.

Systems Implementation
– Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of cross functional, multi-platform application systems.

Planning and Coordination
– Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members.

Leadership Skills
– Regularly offer guidance and support to fellow developers.

Provide strategic, informed recommendations to senior management, and keep up to date on current technology trends.

You can demonstrate experience in PEGA development with 3 to 5 years of experience and at a minimum have obtained the Pega Certified System Architect certification.

Experience with Waterfall and Agile project delivery.

T echnical trouble-shooting ability including knowledge of supporting Unix environments and Oracle DB.

It’s an asset if you have experience with Jenkins, Jira or Confluence, and/or other build & deploy tools.

You’re confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
