This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 17, 2021.

Ce poste est responsable de la saisie des données de toutes les offres faites par les acheteurs sur les véhicules qui transitent soit par l’encan physique ou via nos plateformes numériques, et ce simultanément. Le titulaire fournira également un support en service à la clientèle, traitera des documents relatifs à la fonction, aidera à la planification des horaires et soutiendra d’autres fonctions administratives liées au département des opérations.

Responsabilités:

    • Effectue la saisie de données de base, au besoin, dans le système informatique AS 400
    • En collaboration avec l’encanteur, fournit les prix de vente, de manière juste et rapide, à tous clients participant aux enchères physiques ou numériques
    • Assister l’encanteur dans la vente d’un véhicule en l’informant des déclarations, prix, identification du vendeur
    • S’assure de l’exactitude du numéro de véhicule et du numéro de l’enchérisseur de l’acheteur
    • Maintien une bonne communication avec le service des comptes commerciaux, l’équipe du soutien à la clientèle et autres membres du personnel de l’encan pour assurer une coordination efficace des activités d’opération
    • S’engage à suivre toutes les procédures de sécurité et de santé en modélisant les comportements ainsi qu’à participer activement au soutien de toutes les activités de sécurité
    • Effectue d’autres tâches connexes
    • Des heures supplémentaires peuvent être applicables en fonction des besoins d’affaires

 

This position is responsible for the data entry of all offers made by buyers on vehicles that pass through the physical auction lines as well as our digital platforms, simultaneously. The incumbent will also provide customer service, process paperwork, assist with scheduling, and support other administrative functions related to the lot operations department.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic data entry into the AS 400 computer system as needed
  • In collaboration with the auctioneer, provides selling prices, in a fair and quick matter, to all customers attending the physical or digital auctions  
  • Assist the auctioneer in the sale of a vehicle by informing them of the declarations, price, identification of the seller
  • Ensure the accuracy of the vehicle number and the buyer’s bidder sign number
  • Maintain constant communication with commercial accounts department, customer support team and other auction personnel to ensure effective coordination of lot operations activities
  • Committed to follow all safety and health procedures by modeling the behaviors as well as actively participate in support of all safety activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Overtime may be required depending on business needs

 

Qualifications:

    • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent
    • Permis de conduire valide
    • 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en service client
    • Expérience de bureau (ou administrative) sera considérée comme un atout
    • Bonne connaissance d’Excel, Microsoft Office
    • Bonne habilité à communiquer
    • Capacité à résoudre des problèmes efficacement et bon sens de l’organisation
    • Capacité à utiliser les équipements de bureau (ex. imprimante, fax, etc.)
    • Capacité à rester assis ou debout pendant de longues périodes
    • Capacité à effectuer des tâches de saisie de données répétitives, dextérité manuelle
    • Les capacités visuelles requises incluent la perception de près, de distance et de profondeur

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1 – 3 years customer service experience
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience will be considered a great asset
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).
  • Good computer software skills
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception
