We are looking for several software engineer located in Canada and available to start timely to support several new projects for leading customers from the Aerospace, Automotive and Railway industries.

Candidates must be located in North-America and eligible to work in Canada.Responsibilities:You will be integrated in an Agile engineering Team and your tasks will be toCarry out the software development with ISO 26262 or similar standards (DO-178C, IEC 61508, EN 50128) using C code, C++ or model bases designCarry out the software testing (Integration and unit level) in accordance with ISO 26262 or similar standards (DO-178C, IEC 61508, EN 50128)Contributing to the preparation of the technical development plan and standard; Supporting the high-level software architecture of an embedded software (in compliance with ISO26262 or DO-178C development standard); Realizing the different stages of the formal development of software (specification, design of the components and modules, coding and verification); Develop and runthe relevant tests on the test platforms to verify correctness of safety requirements and design.Debug issues (raised during the software development cycle)Ensure traceability between all the software design and tests artefacts.Conduct independent peer reviews on tests produced by other team members.Participate to continuous improvement of the team performance (quality, efficiency, on-time delivery).Requirements:Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.3 to 5 year’s experience in a similar positionExperience in safe critical industries working with safety standards (ISO 26262, EN50128, DO-178, IEC 61508)Experience with RTOS and low level device driversInterest in troubleshoot complex software problems.Knowledge of C language and/or model based design tools SCADE, Matlab / SimulinkEfficient using testing tools such as VectorCAST and LDRABasics in communication protocols UDS, CAN, ARINC, RS-422, Ethernet.Good communication, interpersonal skills, team-player.Curiosity, autonomy, pro-activity and ability to find solutions and compromises.Proficient in English or French (speaking and writing)Be located or eligible to work in Canada
