As part of our dynamic and diverse Retirement Benefits Solutions team, the successful candidate will be responsible for serving our clientele in connection with defined benefit pension plans. He will maintain and develop client relationships and work collaboratively with other team members to meet specific client requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet frequently with clients to establish their needs and deliver the required services
  • Respond to customer requests
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the firm's business development
  • Remain a leader in the retirement community by keeping up to date on developments in pension plans
  • Manage the deadlines and deliverables of the different client teams
  • Collaborate with the various internal teams to carry out client mandates
  • Act as a mentor to team employees, supporting their growth and development
  • Participate in the continuing education process
  • Contribute to internal development projects

To be successful in your role as Director, you will need to have the following skills:

  • Hold a university degree, in actuarial mathematics or in actuarial science
  • FICA designation is an asset
  • Have more than 10 years of experience consulting defined benefit pension plans
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the funding and accounting of pension plans
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the laws governing pension plans
  • Exceptional customer orientation with a strong professional sense
  • Have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to develop good interpersonal relationships
  • Have a very good sense of organization
  • Have a good team spirit, and also show initiative and independence
  • Be bilingual (English and French) both orally and in writing;
