Huntel Global: Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager

Are you a seasoned quality assurance manager looking for a new challenge within the software industry?

It is your lucky day as our client has just opened a new job as their Montreal office continues to grow.

You will work under the supervision of the Director of Software Quality Assurance along with 2 other colleagues.

As a senior manager in this international software company, you will be responsible to groom and mobilize your team, as well as for the delivery of the projects related to the development and debugging of new features.

You will start supervising a team of 5 QA automation developers and will participate in the recruiting activities.

To perform well in this role and company you need to:Have a technical background in QA automation to be able to guide your team when troubleshooting issues (no recent hands-on experience required).Have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a manager (HR management: performance assessment, recruitment; operations management: project delivery within an Agile environment) with a keen interest in developing your team’s skills and in fostering their professional growth.Being familiar with a similar technological environment: cloud solutions (here GCP), backend and frontend testing (Selenium/Java, Rest Assured, Protractor, etc.)Bilingualism in both French and English is mandatory in this role to communicate with local and international teams (12,000 employees across the world).Their brand-new office is in Cartierville-Ahunstic, managers usually go to the office at least 3 days a week (pre/post-pandemic).
