Position As the Operations Analyst, you will report directly to the Plant Manager, dormakaba Montreal.

You will be responsible for reviewing business processes and make a variety of recommendations for improving efficiency and service.

You will actively monitor our company operations and make recommendations to executive management about enhancing business processes and company structure.

You will also work with the management team to identify opportunities to help increase profitability and develop specialized services for clients.

Key responsibilities
– Standardizes operational metrics, with critical trend analytics for the plant
– Model data for analysis on labor, overhead, and material costs of products
– Develops, reports, and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
– Identifies needs, defines scopes, and estimates labor, technology, and capital resources
– Monitors and reports project progress against planned objectives
– Appropriates data consolidation from ERP systems (Axapta)
– Assesses data, with corrective analytics, to ensure adaptive solutions are presented with business risk
– Develops and maintains tools, spreadsheets, and reports for capturing and reporting data Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations monitoring
– Minimum of 5 years’ in an analyst role
– Understanding of operational metrics, dashboards, and KPI’s
– Advance skill set in excel modeling and SQL (data base) tools
– Project team building, collaboration, and facilitation
– Capacity to facilitate highly effective meetings
– Desire to initiate action and decision making
– Excellent presentation skills
– Focus on results and solutions
– Strong collaborate communication approach
– Strong integrity and work ethic
– Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
– Bilingualism (French & English) required
– Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization, its executive team and customers
– Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
– Skills with ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning).
