Our Senior Identity Management Specialist supports and manages a variety of IDM systems and security tools as well as investigates and resolves routine and complex issues. The skillset of the ideal candidate should be well rounded, from installation and troubleshooting to investigations and recommendations for improvements to tools and processes with a minimum of 6-10 years of direct operational experience in this area. This is an operational role. As such, the selected candidate will be responsible for both daily run and maintain activities of large enterprise systems in addition to providing subject matter expertise to the client and other team members, will participate in projects, provide knowledge to and be an escalation point for other team members and will provide thought leadership in the area of expertise.

Essential Job Functions

Persons occupying this role will perform the following functions:

  • Security technology operations (Identity Management, AD/LDAP, certificates, etc)
  • Identity Management application configuration, maintenance, and monitoring
  • Build and management of tools to standardized provisioning tasks
  • Escalation point for user provisioning and role management activities
  • Investigate issues and remediate or provide recommendations for remediation
  • Execution of Mass imports
  • Participate in and be a team member for various projects
  • Perform run and maintain activities
  • Participate in audits and perform compliance activities
  • Work with both internal and client teams
  • Work with service teams to secure various technologies
  • Ensure security of client’s environment
  • Participate in rotating on-call support covering off hours, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for CDG Clearance
  • Active Directory knowledge and experience (deployment and support, user management, administration and reporting)
  • Identity Management System support, management, and monitoring including: rules configuration; user management, reporting and monitoring; object directory and web interface support and management; issue resolution; process improvement and automation of data distribution.
  • Experience with
    • Microfocus (NetIQ) Identity Manager, IManager, eDirectory experience would be an asset
    • Configuring LDAP settings in applications and/or assisting application owners to do same.
    • Linux and Windows Server Administration (including job scheduling)
    • Scripting/Programming/Web Technologies (VB, Perl, Javascript, Java, PowerShell, CSS, PHP, Html, etc)
    • XML/Xpath technology
    • Java Eclipse Builder
    • Certificates, CA and SSL
    • Web Services (Get, Post, REST, and SOAP)
    • various protocols used in a network system. (ie: UDP, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS,…)
    • Active Directory user management, administration, and reporting
    • SQL technology and products
    • Web servers
    • Apache, Putty, Service Now, ARS (Active Directory), DBEdit 2, WINscp, KeePass
    • Office products especially Excel and Access
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Web servers
    • Networks functionality, traffic, and communication
    • DMZs and securing same
    • SAP GUI
    • Remote Desktop
  • Ability and willingness to learn client-specific technologies and tools.
