Your Role The WorkJam Development team is a growing, unique, dynamic group with plenty of energy, technical skills, and ideas.

The role of Senior Software Development Manager is to provide leadership, focus, guidance and to drive multiple cross-functional Agile teams to deliver functionality in Web and Mobile applications in a SaaS environment.

Your Responsibilities Lead and grow several Agile teams of cross-functional software engineers.

Collaborate closely with UX, QA, Technical Writers, Solution Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver functionality within our regular release cycles.

Work with Team Leaders, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders in the roadmap definition process.

Build and execute on project plans to predictably deliver product functionality across multiple development disciplines, anticipating problems and unblocking the team as appropriate.

Work with Support, Services, and Release management functions to roll out new features to Production and support the product in the field.

Work with your team to continuously drive improvements in quality, productivity and the software development processes, and champion best practices.

Take ownership and drive the advancement of non-functional qualities/aspects of the product.

Coach and mentor current and future leaders within the team.

Build and execute on training & Individual growth plans for the team.

Heavily involved in recruiting and performance management with a view to maintaining an awesome team culture.

Ensure the team’s decisions and actions are always customer-centric.

Your Attributes Minimum 5 years of experience as a Development Manager At least 10 years of professional experience in a software development environment, at least 3 of which were in an Agile environment.

At least 3 years as manager of team, team or technical leaders.

Generally recognized as a collaborator and team player, able to bridge communication gaps that commonly occur between teams.

Professional experience with SaaS and Mobile delivery platforms.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with local and remote technical contributors.

Exceptionally well-organized, pragmatic, and transparent.

Creative problem solver.
