DevOps Engineer to work for our managed services division in Montreal, Canada!Who you are:Youre a seasoned DevOps professional at home in enterprise-level AWS environmentsdevelopment, deployment, scalability and analytics.

You find career satisfaction from helping solve the day-to-day challenges of a wide range of Taos clients.What youll be doing:Improving cloud data infrastructurewith emphasis on hassle-free deployments, scalability, security and fault toleranceCollaborating with the engineering team to create and implement leading-edge solutions to unique cloud and data services requirementsCrafting innovative solutions for multiple AWS cloud services tasks; standup, burn-in, sustainment activitiesDeveloping systems and service deployment scripts for production and pre-production web services in an AWS environmentEnsuring secure deployment and operations processes are PCI compliantOverseeing and responding to effective server/application monitoring and analyticsCoordinating large-scale IAM integrations using SSO, Okta and other security toolsAutomating deployments via standard tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)Streamlining CI/CD pipelines via JenkinsWhat youll bring with you:A minimum of 7+ years experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer5+ years of AWS in an enterprise production environmentExpert-level familiarity with Linux commands and utilities, with experience Linux (*nix) servers in a production environmentUnderstanding of virtualization and containerization as tools for growing scalability, reliability, and expediencyExperience supporting a high-impact enterprise application development teamProficiency in configuration management technologies, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.Previous exposure to network-attached storage, specifically using IsilonFamiliarity with task scheduling and resource sharing frameworks such as Aurora and MesosPrior experience with DevOps/release engineering automation tools (Jenkins, SCM, Ansible)Application performance tuning and optimizationStrong scripting skills, including Python, Java, and RubyA viable working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) with the ability to run network services in a *nix environmentExcellent written/verbal communication skills Who is Taos?
