Gourmet marketing Manager – Canada

Maternity leave replacement (Contract 13 months) Job summary Under the supervision of the Gourmet marketing & Academy Director NA, the incumbent will be responsible for defining and leading the Gourmet 2.0 plan & Customer Journey in Canada; executing the marketing projects/program, leading the digital strategy and our Gourmet NA sustainability efforts.

He/She will closely support the Canadian Gourmet Commercial Director.

Job Description
– Define the most relevant Gourmet multi-brand activation plan & priorities for Canada in alignment with the Gourmet North America & Academy Director;
– Shapes the Canadian segment plan in alignment with the Gourmet North America Segment manager;
– Leads the Canadian digital vision to further amplify impact of all Gourmet initiatives;
– Controls the Canadian Marketing budget;
– Manages one direct report;
– Analyses the relevancy of new products integrations (develops sales forecasts accounts);
– Responsible for the execution of multiple marketing promotions and programs;
– Coordinates when needed products integrations and daily support with the sales, Chocolate Academy, R&D and Operations departments;
– Support the North America segment strategy;
– Leads the Data Driven Marketing Canadian pilot with the Gourmet North American team;
– Leads our Gourmet Sustainability efforts in North America;
– Develops and coordinates with our publicity agency the communication tools needed for the marketing plan (presentation, price negotiating, graphic chain, etc.);
– Plans, organizes and coordinates, with the internal and external intervening parties, the activities related in participating in different commercial exhibitions;
– Defines the Chocolate Academy priorities for Canada in alignment with the Gourmet North America Lead Chef.

Job Requirements
– Masters in Administration with a Marketing concentration or the equivalent;
– 5
– 10 years of professional experience in Sales or Marketing;
– Important knowledge in marketing elements (interaction between positioning, sources of volumes, result accounts, copy strategy, marketing mix, etc.);
– Bilingual essential (French/English);
– Digital Native;
– Excellent leadership and proactive approach;
– Experience or knowledge in the chocolate industry, an asset;
– Very good knowledge in Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint;
– Good initiative, good at project management analyzing and good with people;
– Well organized, works well under pressure.
