AKKA Group North Americais looking for an Pneumatic Systems Specialistwhowould like to join a dynamic and growing company inMontreal, to support one of its customers in the Aerospace sector.

The position is to be as soon as possible.ResponsibilitiesComplete design and integration of the system; Review of the design and documentation of all the aspects related to your system; Check for quality of the Supplier’s analyses; Validate and verify system requirements; Validate and verify system performance through design reviews, analyses, rig and aircraft testing; Define, prepareand execute qualification and certification tests; Work with supplier in the investigation and resolution of test findings; Prepare or review qualification or certification reports; Work with suppliers to establish complete system requirements and system interfaces; Liaise with stress, loads, reliability, maintainability and safety (RM& S), simulation, customerand operations support departments; Provide supportto business units in Propulsion Control requirement definition, verification and validation, following ARP4754Identify issues and obstacles, follow-up and communicate progress; Prepare reportsor presentations.QualificationsYou hold a Bachelor or Master’s (preferred) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a relevant experience of minimum five (5) years.You possess very good knowledge in Propulsion Control Systems, Air systems and their integration on the aircraftYou have a background in design, integration, development and certification of Systems.You are cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification processYou have good oral and technical writing skills in English and French (required)You are motivated, self-starter, organized, autonomous and able to work under limited supervisionYou are a team player and able to work with suppliers and customers.You are a dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgmentYou have knowledge of MS Office software (essential)JoiningAKKA Technologiesmeans evolving in the fields that fascinate you, developing your skills, with the possibility of evolving towards different sectors, in a framework that favors individual initiatives; your role is part of a real business project!
