AlayaCare: Product owner


This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted March 25, 2020.

We are looking for a great team player to join our growing startup dedicated to building the future of homecare.

We are building a workforce management system allowing private homecare agencies around the world manage their employees (scheduling, client health records, billing, payroll and reporting).

We are also building other exciting complementary products (mobile apps for care workers, remote patient monitoring and family portal).

Every single member of the close-knit team is committed to building the best product possible to change the homecare industry.

To achieve this ambitious goal we work hard, making sure our users providing 10 000+ care visits a day work efficiently.

What we are looking for in a Product owner: Relevant degree Experience as a product owner communicating requirements to developers Someone willing to take a lot of diverse responsibility and work in a challenging fast-paced environment Attention to detail Work experience working on accounting OR clinical / healthcare systems What the job looks like: Be the point person for Product Ownership within the company working daily with JIRA to ensure proper feature delivery for the clinical documentation module of the AlayaCare suite of products Author and manage a backlog of functional requirements, including wireframes and design components Groom the company backlog and prepare sprints with the Development team to ensure technical considerations are accounted for Interact with the QA team to ensure acceptance criteria is set for tickets to accommodate automated and manual testing Thoroughly document release notes and feature to accompany each sprint release and new epics Support the release process Apply AlayaCare implementation project methodologies across all projects Manage project risk to ensure timely, on-budget project execution and closure Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and other intellectual capital Develop a fool-proof success plan to ensure organizational adoptions and expansion of our product.

Work with the Development, Client Success, Marketing and Sales teams to help build and maintain a prioritized backlog and roadmap Provide phone based and on-site strategic and tactical consulting related to AlayaCare Set expectations, communicate implementation project timeline and define the onboarding process Create and manage ongoing relationships with clients through their early use of AlayaCare From time to time deliver Train the Trainer and Training materials Team effectively with other parts of the organization to address and resolve customer issues Manage ongoing client communications and share status updates with key stakeholders
