– Montreal area, Quebec CanadaJob DescriptionThe Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of marketing and product development of Aldea’s media services.

This includes managing the overall lifecycle of the product and working with all company departments and partners to ensure revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met.Product Specialist Responsibilities:Provide support to the Product Manager in:Implementing the product development process.Elaboration of product plans, in line with Company’s overall strategy and goals.Developing business cases and marketing plans.Supporting sales, meeting with customers, and ensuring the development of Aldea services are in tune with the market’s needs.Developing and coordinating communication plans and product launches.Relationships and negotiations with service partners.Create and track progress of product development roadmaps.Project management related tasks.Execute market research and market analysis.Work with other departments to coordinate actions and guarantee the accomplishment of project deadlines.Engage in release process to stay on top of all marketable features and products as they come to market and be prepared to support the communication rollout as required to launch.Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data and key performance metrics.Understand products and services inside and out to deeply understand how Aldea provides value and supports client needs.Deliver ongoing training to sales staff and create documents, manuals, and tutorials to improve the final user and customer experiences.Product Specialist Requirements:University education in Marketing (with experience in the Media or Telecom industries) or university education in Engineering (telecommunications, electronics, computer science) with experience in marketing.Has 1-3 years experience in marketing or product management.Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English, additional languages are valuable assets.Telecommunications and/or video services markets experience/knowledge is a plus.Ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering on key initiatives.Proficiency with various software applications (MS Office Suite, CRM/ERPs).Curious, proactive, and collaborative.
