Altran: Cabin Monuments Senior Buyer


This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted February 18, 2021.

Attached is the initial (still current) target organization over 2020-2021 for PCMC.Main activity 1 Negotiate PCR ‘flow’ (minor): Under lead of sub-MFT leader attend change management governance, request quotes from Supplier, process impact statements in ‘database’, attend IWT when required and retrieve liability, align ‘Go-Get’ with sub-MFT leader or me, submit counter proposal to Safran and negotiate closure within mandate.

Escalation of a flow will be managed by sub-MFT leader.Main activity 2 Execute aftersales operational deliverables: These come online as aftersales ‘projects’ conclude and new processes are implemented.

They would essentially include VSB, MISP, PMA assist letters, DMC and spare price lists (including SATAIR).Secondary activity (40hrs): Support closure of cabin targeted Outline Agreements.Secondary activity (20hrs): Support closure of VCA.In your role, you will:As our ideal candidate,You have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.You have at least 5 years of experience in Procurement.Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders.Efficient project management and actions monitoring.Effective negotiator with proven commercial, contractual background and legal awareness.Experience in delivering cost reduction initiatives.Knowledge of after-market operations.Proven in communication, especially with suppliers’ representatives and internal stakeholders.High level of autonomy and solution driven.Versatile, capable to manage very different tasks.Negotiation level in English.Data management skills including mastering Excel.Financial key indicators knowledge is a plus.Experience in aerospace is a plus.Knowledge the Cabin market and supplier strategies of his/her perimeter is a plus.
