THE CONTEXT We are actively working to transform our Talent Acquisition service delivery model from a shared service to a center of expertise, with the establishment of a senior team that: Supports managers Works in ” Hunting” mode and Thinks ” Diversity” at every stage of our recruitments We have work to do (or opportunities for improvement) on a variety of processes in this fast-paced environment, but we are giving ourselves clear objectives and the means to achieve them.

The team will include 3 Senior Talent Acquisition Advisors (2 of whom specialize in IT positions), 2 Talent Acquisition Advisors, 1 Coordinator, and you By joining our team, you will have a major impact on the achievement of our national diversity targets This position is a first at BDC: it’s up to you to make it happen.

You will also work closely with the HRBP, who are a gold mine of information regarding their client groups, as well as with our 2 Senior Diversity Advisors who are ambassadors at all levels of the BDC.

YOUR MISSION Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager: Leverage your knowledge and experience in sourcing / diversity and propose a strategy to ensure diversity of profiles within the BDC: Quebec pilot project (and then the rest of Canada) : Upstream, HRBP’s and recruiters will be valuable allies in understanding the reality and challenges of each sector with respect to diversity, Then develop an action plan and prioritize initiatives.

Proactively develop and cultivate diverse pools of potential candidates based on our future needs or for recurring/critical positions.

Identify and convert the best people into potential candidates: master both the tools to find and the art of approaching passive candidates Support your colleagues in diversified sourcing mode in their ongoing recruitments (all types of positions).

Influence your recruiting colleagues by bringing the diversity angle to every step of the recruiting process, whether it be in the review of job descriptions, selection of resumes, virtual meetings with candidates, selection of candidates to present to managers, etc.

Open the channels of discussion from a ” Potential talent pool” perspective with the various communities and organizations with which we already have ties (Our Children Medicine, Jumpstart Refugee Talent, etc.).

Maximize the potential of our databases in terms of diversity: we are sitting on a gold mine of information that is just waiting to be used.
