Bell: Business Analyst, Billing And Receivables

This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted October 14, 2020.

Our team is looking for a talented Business Analyst to lead the delivery of solutions for Bell Business Markets.

The successful candidate will work with Project Managers, and will collaborate with other business analysts and various teams such as product managers, IT, operational groups, external vendors or the customized billing solutions automation team.

We require a highly motivated individual, who thrives in a constantly changing and exciting environment, to apply creativity and innovation in the development of solutions essential to the improvement of the billing and receivables experience and performance for BBM customers Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Project Management, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following: Represent BBM Customer Service on system and process improvement initiatives.

This opening will specifically be for the billing and receivables organization.Optimize delivery processes through the deal life cycle (ordering to delivery to billing).Be responsible for gathering and documenting business and system requirements, current and proposed process mappings, and ensuring that the solutions resulting from the development effort will meet these requirements.Recommend changes to established methods, propose alternative and new solutions to improve operational efficiencyLiaise with SMEs to define solutions that meet users requirements and are technically appropriateEnsure detailed documentation of business requirementsDefine and document operational methodsThe role also involves driving the user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results as well as taking responsibility for end-to-end testing.

The Business Analyst may also execute test cases and directly ensures system integrity.Support Trainers and provide information to help build the training strategyDeliver a change management strategySupport users during project normalization You will assume a leading role in performing and overseeing the multi-functional tasks associated with these objectives, and will work closely with colleagues and other business stakeholders.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:Business Analyst certification and/or a university/college graduate with a business, marketing or telecommunications degreeRelated experience as a Business Analyst/Process or Systems within IT or BusinessHighly self-motivated and self-directed with a strong attention to detailMust possess the ability to prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlinesProfessional work ethic, inter-personal skills and strong organizational skills are essentialExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalConceptual thinking and creative problem solving skillsAbility to lead and influence others to get things doneKnowledge of how the billing & receivables organization works, the tools they use (like OBM, BCT, NM1, CBSS, Toll Free, SAP ORS, SAP Professional services, Special billing, NIBS, Singleview ,Rev Chain, NSB, Metratech for Conferencing services, Mobility billing (NM1), BARS (MTS), CSM (Aliant) etc .Excellent knowledge of the billing and receivables processes & systems Excellent knowledge of the limitations and possibilities of the billing systems Collaboration and negotiation skillsAnalytical and technical skillsFlexibility; ability to comfortably operate in a rapidly evolving environmentAdvanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel, Visio and MS PowerPointJuggle multiple projects without missing a beatA demonstrated ability to deliver results Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:Project management certification Experience in developing requirements for business process and systems integration projectsKnowledge of database is an asset (SQL etc.)Knowledge of Agile methodology is an assetAbility to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple projects and aggressive timelinesEnglish is essential, but a bilingual resource (French & English) would be preferred.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
