Our renewable power portfolio includes over 19,000 MW of hydroelectric, wind, solar, and storage capacity and is diversified across 27 power markets in 17 countries.Position SummaryBrookfield Renewable is looking for an Associate, Investor Relations in our Toronto office to support the development and client service strategy for Brookfield’s new series of Impact Funds.

The role represents an exciting opportunity to help develop and execute strategic investor relations and client service initiatives for the new series of funds.

This will include collaborating across investment segments to ensure a unified approach to relationship management and client service.

The Associate will play a significant in strategizing and defining the function of the private funds Investor Relations strategy as it continues to develop and evolve.

The Associate will coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams and departments, interacting with all levels of the organization, to complete investor requests and to execute on various large initiatives in an organized, concise fashion.

The successful candidate must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, have a strong ability to problem solve / multi-task and be a collaborative team player.

The role will report to the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations.ResponsibilitiesDraft, populate and review Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and database questionnaires, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information to our clients and consultantsPrepare and distribute quarterly client reportsRespond to ad-hoc requests for information and conduct investment analysisCreate presentations for current clients and prospective investors; assist with presentation design and content curationCollaborate across internal groups to oversee the response to investor requests and questionnairesEnsure that all client needs are consistently met and strive to exceed client expectationsArticulately communicate with key internal stakeholders in a knowledgeable, clear, and professional fashionQualifications & Requirements3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: asset management, investor relations, client service, equity research, investment banking; knowledge of impact investing and/or ESG is an assetUndergraduate degree with an excellent academic backgroundTeam player who demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognitionPositive, can-do attitude, exhibiting humility, professionalism and patienceHighly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, global environmentExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle pressure effectively to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of work product and adhering to stringent deadlinesStrong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft PowerPointExperience with Salesforce, Intralinks and/or FISDX (Sungard) a plusFor More Details, We Encourage Applicants To Read Brookfield’s Applicant Data Protection And Privacy Notice, Found On Our WebsiteAt Brookfield, we care about your privacy and strive to protect Applicant Data throughout the recruitment process.
