You support in store functions in relation to people management & engagement, customer experience and operational efficiency and ensure excellence in all areas and they maintain Canada Goose’s expectations of quality and authenticity.

With extensive people management skills and a flare for world class customer services, you will continuously strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.In collaboration with the Store Manager, you will be an entrepreneur and take ownership for the business by recruiting, developing and leading the team, fostering & developing client relationships, while also being strategically agile in order to drive strong sales results.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing market expertise in relation to client needs and be relentless and innovative in developing strategies to maximize product performance by leveraging brand story-telling, visual merchandising, client development training and team animations.Key ResponsibilitiesStore Financial Performance: Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom line resultsPeople Management & EngagementSupport in training on standard operating procedures; ensure brand ambassadors have the proper understanding of product and brand historyCoach and mentor brand ambassadors to improve performance and develop key selling and operational skills that enhance customer experienceIdentify external talents for Canada Goose’s retail business and support in onboarding new team membersDrive Employee Engagement through performance recognition and developmentCustomer ExperienceEnsure an outstanding customer experience through team selling with the brand ambassadorsDrive our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metrics such as; conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retailDrive respective location’s Units per Transaction (UPT)Resolve customer issues and NPS detractors in a timely manner by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports and coaching staff on managing similar challenges in the futureLeveraging in store elements to provide a memorable experienceOperational ExcellenceCompliant of store operating procedures to minimize store shrink Assist with Payroll and schedule managementPerforms store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standardsRegularly review company’s email and other communication tools to ensure applicable messages are shared with Brand Ambassadors and to act on those messages in a timely mannerOther responsibilities may be added to meet the needs of the businessQualificationsExperience, Education and Designations:3-4 years retail management experienceProven experience working with affluent and luxury brands is an assetHigh-volume traffic experience is an assetKnowledge, Skills And AttributesBasic knowledge of inventory, scheduling and payroll managementStrong grasp of retail math and using analytics in a business environmentAttention to detailAbility to stand for long periods of time and flexible to work retail hours (standard, peak and holiday)Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentSolid knowledge and understanding of retail metricsConsistently exhibits Canada Goose’s Values, taking pride in being innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, and entrepreneurialAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and ExcelProficiency in another language is an asset
