If you are looking for an environment that is passionate, friendly, and full of energy then this is the right place for you.The right candidate has the following soft skills:Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate abundant information with accuracyAble to interpret, communicate and present financial information in a clear and concise mannerAble to work independently with minimal supervisionOrganized and detail orientedAble to work in a fast paced environment and set prioritiesStrong follow up abilityRequirements:University degree in AccountingMinimum of 3-5 years in a similar roleBilingual (French and English)Strong Excel skillsExperience with Momentis system is an assetThe responsibilities will include:Conceptualizing, developing and implementing new tools to track product and major customers’ performanceReporting on KPI’s in a timely, proactive manner; such KPI’s include Gross Margin, Net Margin and other relevant measures.Giving insight on financial decisions with respect to a product or to a customer whether at the time of contract signing, later when additional funding is requested or at any other time as needed.Producing and presenting comprehensive reporting, including actual performance of products versus what is expected; comparing to other products, prior periods or to other Major customers.Advising management in a proactive manner when performance is below expectations so they can make strategic, informed decisions.Investigating customer claims and ensure that these are in accordance to a signed contract; dispute those that are not conform.Making sure that financial information reported on is accurate and complete so that conclusions are validated and reliable.Validating analyses by collaborating with internal and external business partners.Improving current processes and procedures and participating in the implementation of new ones.Participating in month-end and year-end process by providing provisions for customer claims/ deductions or other pertinent information to the controller.Collaborating with credit/receivables department to ensure information for claims & deductions are accurately represented in the system.Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with Majors accounts payable and buyers when needed.Preparing and/or assisting with ad hoc financial analysis requests as needed
